Mysuru: A senior citizen, who had fallen from his scooter and injured himself, succumbed to injuries on Monday.

The deceased is R. Govindaraju (70), a resident of H. Ramakrishnaiah Main Road at Vishweshwaranagar 2nd Stage in city.

On July 13 afternoon, Govindaraju left his home on his scooter (KA-09-JT-6009) to go to a shop. After riding for a short distance, he fell from his scooter on the Main Road and injured himself.

His family members had admitted him to a hospital but he succumbed to injuries on Monday night. A case has been registered at KR Traffic Police Station.
