Mysuru: Team Genesis Mysuru delivered a dominant performance at the PKD Grappling Tournament held in city recently finishing overall first among all teams. The Kids squad, coached by Anjali B. Gupta, also had a strong day.

The team fielded a strong contingent across the Beginners, Intermediate, Advance, Adult and Kids categories with athletes returning home with an impressive medal haul.

The stand-out performers were Swathi and Arnav, who received the prestigious ‘Champion of Champions’ title in addition to their category medals.

Adult Category: R. Rohan (gold), Swathi (bronze, gold and Champion of Champions title), Bhuvan (silver), Roshan (gold and silver), Arnav (silver and Champion of Champions title).

Kids Category: Parthayu (gold), Aadvika (gold), Ashmi (silver), Aditi (silver), Vihaan (silver), Aarya (silver), Kaushik (bronze), Bhadrayu (bronze).

Grappling is a martial arts competition focused on clinching, takedowns, positional control and submissions (such as chokes and joint locks) without the use of strikes.
