Mysuru: The 355th Aradhana Mahotsava of Sri Raghavendra Gurusarvabhauma will be held from Aug. 29 to 31 at Sri Sagarakatte Rayara Mutt, located at the 12th Cross Street in V.V. Mohalla near the Brindavana Sannidhana of Sri Raghavendraswamy.

During the days of Aradhana, the daily schedule is as follows: 7 am – Padapuje; 8.45 am – Panchamrita Abhisheka, 12 noon – Alankara Brahmana Puja and 6.30 pm to 8.15 pm – Musical programme.

Following the musical programme, there will be Pallakki Utsava, Rathotsava (chariot procession), Mahamangalarati and Prasada distribution.

On Aug. 31, the Rathotsava will be held at 11.30 am.

Aug. 29 (Purvaradhane Day) – 6.30 pm to 8.15 pm: Vocal concert by Vidu. Kalambika Sisters, accompanied by Vidu. C.V. Shruthi on violin, Vid. Vikram Bharadwaj on mridanga and Vid. Sharath Kaushik Sagar on ghata.

Aug. 30 (Madhyaradhane Day) – 6.30 pm to 8.15 pm: Veena recital by Vid. R.K. Padmanabha, accompanied by Dr. D.V. Prahlada Rao on mridanga and Vid. Sharath Kaushik Sagar on ghata.

Aug. 31 (Uttaradhane Day) – 6.30 pm to 8.15 pm: Vocal concert by Vid. Samartha Raghunandan and party, accompanied by Vid. Rupanagudi Ratna Teja on violin, Vid. Vikram Bharadwaj on mridanga and Vid. Sharath Kaushik Sagar on ghata.

Sri Sagarakatte Rayara Mutt Trust has informed, in a press release, that Mahamangalarati and Prasada distribution will follow the musical programme each day.
