Mysuru: Prizes were distributed to the winners of the District-level Inter-High School Kannada Debate Competition, organised by Dinesh Coaching Centre, Mysuru, on the topic ‘Shaleyalli Makkala Kalikege Shiksheginta Preetiya Astrave Melu’ on Sunday.

Speaking at the prize distribution ceremony organised at Ideal Jawa Rotary Centre on JLB Road here, Coaching Centre Head N.V. Dinesh called upon the students to grab every opportunity that comes in their way and march forward in their career and life.

The winners of the debate competition are as follows:

Nadashri R. Bhat of Sadvidya High School, N.S. Road – 1st prize (Rs. 5,000); Jasmitha Mahesh of Vijaya Vittala High School, Saraswathipuram – 2nd prize (Rs. 4,000); Priyanka of Government High School, Marballi – 3rd prize (Rs. 3,000) and Y.D. Sinchana and Nishchitha, both of Sharada Public School, Rajarajeshwari Nagar – Consolation prize (Rs. 1,000 each).

Also, Sadvidya High School won the Rolling Shield.

Students from more than 20 schools took part in the debate competition judged by C. Vishwanath, H. Sathyaprasad and Raghavendra. Coaching Centre’s Sowmya Dinesh & Prashanth Raj were present.
