Man gets life term for killing with bricks

Mysuru: The Fourth Additional District and Sessions Court in Mysuru has sentenced Khader Pasha alias Khader Rahim Sab (34) to life imprisonment for the murder of Akbar (48), a resident of Azeez Sait Nagar. The Court also imposed a fine of Rs. 50,000.

The incident occurred on June 2, 2023, around 2 pm near a bakery at Al-Badr Circle in Rajivnagar Second Stage.

Khader Pasha attacked Akbar with a cement brick, hitting him on the back of the head. After Akbar collapsed, he allegedly hurled another brick at his stomach, killing him on the spot. The case was registered at Udayagiri Police Station.

Inspectors K.N. Sudhakar and P.K. Raju, along with Sub-Inspector C.N. Sunil, conducted the investigation and filed a chargesheet against the accused.

Following the trial, Judge H. Ananth held the accused guilty and sentenced him to life imprisonment. Government Prosecutors S.T. Sudha and T.B. Lakshmidevi represented the State.
