Mysuru: Monthi Fest, the Nativity (birthday) of the Blessed Virgin Mary, will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Hinkal on Sept. 6.  

At 9.45 am, there will be offering of flowers to Infant Mary, followed by Holy Mass in Konkani. Bishop of Mysuru Most Rev. Dr. Francis Serrao SJ will be the main celebrant.

Also, Prathiba Puraskar and the traditional Monthi Fest family meal will be held at Konkan Bhavan in Vijayanagar 2nd Stage.

At Sacred Heart Church on Sept. 8

Nativity Feast of Mother Mary will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Yadavagiri on Sept. 8.

Holy Mass by Parish Priest Rev. Fr. A. Rohan and other priests will be held at 5.30 pm, followed by Rosary Procession at 7 pm and Marian Novena at 8 pm.  

The celebration will conclude with Festal Dinner at 8.30 pm.
