Golf hut project

Mysuru: The Managing Committee of Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf Club (JWGC), during its emergency meeting held after its Special General Body Meeting (SGBM) held on Aug. 2, 2026 at the JWGC premises has suspended 4 members including Immediate Past President Dr. Abraham Thomas after the General Body accepted the ‘Forensic accounting report of Project Golf Hut by Govindaraju and Co. and report on assessment of Quality and Costing of Project Golf Hut by Civil Technologies International Pvt. Ltd.

The General Body in SGBM also directed the Managing Committee to take appropriate action in the said matter as per the provisions of the MOA.

Following this, the JWGC, after consulting with the experts, resolved to suspend the following members for a period of three months from date of the notice, pending further details enquiry under clause 29.9.2 of the MOA:

Dr. Abraham Thomas (Immediate Past President), V.G. Achar (former Hon. Secretary), R.S. Nitish (former Hon. Treasurer) and B.S. Harishankar, according to a notice  dated 4.8.2026.
