Mysuru: IAS Officer N. Chandrashekar has been appointed as the new Managing Director (MD) of Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Company (CESC) at Mysuru.

He replaces M.S. Archana, who has been transferred.

Chandrashekar earlier served as Joint Secretary to Government, Infrastructure Development, Ports and Inland Water Transport Department at Bengaluru.

Outgoing Managing Director Archana had taken charge of the post only a few months ago following the retirement of Munigopal Raju.

Chandrashekar will take charge as CESC Managing Director in city tomorrow.
