The Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Mysuru, is offering AICTE-approved, job-oriented diploma programmes.  Candidates who have passed SSLC are eligible to seek admission to the following three-year Diploma courses: Diploma in Plastics Mould Technology (DPMT) and Diploma in Plastics Technology (DPT).

The last date for admission for the academic year 2026-27 has been extended up to Sept.14 to facilitate eligible candidates to secure admission against the few vacant seats available. Candidates who have passed PUC (Science) or ITI are also eligible to seek admission through Lateral Entry to the diploma programmes, subject to eligibility and availability of seats.
