Chikkaveeraiah (71), a retired Central Sericulture Department employee and a resident of S. Uttanahalli, passed away yesterday.

He leaves behind his wife Hemalatha, two sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at S. Uttanahalli here this afternoon, according to family sources.
