Mysuru: Even as the SIR (Special Intensive Revision) process of electoral rolls continue in the State, the authorities have issued notices to as many as 1.27 lakh voters in Mysuru district who have not been mapped or found having logical discrepancies.

Out of the 1,28,216 voters who are listed for sending notices, 1,27,612 of them have been already served notices, while issuance of notice to 604 remaining voters has remained pending. Out of the 1.27 lakh voters, 79,053 voters have been enquired, while 49,163 enquiries remain pending. At present, the authorities are engaged in settling cases concerning notice served voters and this process is expected to be completed within the stipulated time.
