Under the Samagra Shikshana Karnataka programme, the Department of School Education has invited entries from schools for Best Block Level SDMC (School Development Management Committee) award. All Government Schools of the district can participate in this contest by joining the survey of SDMCs through Vidyavahini Portal. The selection will be done in 4 stages. The SDMCs can apply till Sept. 30 at the school level. The Best Government Primary School in every taluk will get a cash prize of Rs. 50,000, Best Government Higher Primary School – Rs. 75,000 and Best High School – Rs. 1 lakh.
