Mysuru: Kannada & Culture and Koppal District in-Charge Minister Shivaraj Tangadagi has issued stern warning against those involved in spreading false information about Dasara inauguration.

In a press release, the Minister has stated that despite Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar announcing the chief guest for this year’s Dasara inauguration, a few people have been spreading false information regarding Gavimutt Seer not accepting the invitation from the Chief Minister. Action will be initiated against such person for misleading the public.

“Only after discussions with Gavimutt Seer, Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar has announced him as the chief guest for Dasara-2026 during the Assembly Session on Sept. 24,” he added.

The release also mentioned that the State Government has already communicated with the Mutt.

CM D.K. Shivakumar will be visiting Gavimutt on Sept. 28 to extend a formal invitation to the Mahaswamiji for the inauguration of this year’s Dasara.
