T. Narasipur: Y.K. Girish Babu (52), son of Primary Co-operative Agriculture and Rural Development (PCARD) Bank former President K. Vajregowda’s sister’s son and a resident of Yachanahalli village in the taluk, passed away at a private hospital in Mysuru yesterday.

He leaves behind his mother, wife, one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at the family’s farm land in the village this afternoon, according to family sources.
