Bengaluru: Rakesh, who had acted as a child artiste in Kannada movie Cheluvina Chittara as ‘Bully’ and was well-known as ‘Papusi’ Rakesh, passed away last evening at St. John’s Hospital here. Son of TV serial actress Asharani, Rakesh had undergone surgery for gangrene two months ago. Rakesh had acted along with Ganesh as ‘Bully’ in Cheluvina Chittara but was famous with the name ‘Papusi.’ He was shooting for the film ‘Dhoomapaana’ as the lead actor.
