Discusses R.T. Nagar, Ballahalli Layouts and Hale Unduvadi drinking water project
Karnataka Urban Development Minister R. Roshan Baig held a closed-door review meeting at the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) this morning.
The Minister discussed about the complications related to Ballahalli Layout and regarding a possible out-of-court settlement regarding legal complications related to R.T. Nagar Layout. The meeting also discussed about the proposed Swarna Jayanthi Nagar and Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar Layout.
Minister Roshan Baig also enquired regarding the implementation of projects announced in the previous Budget, projects to be announced in this year’s Budget and also about the funds utilised during the previous financial year.
MUDA Officials also briefed him about the development works undertaken by MUDA which includes the construction of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Bhavan, road development works undertaken from Star of Mysore Office Junction to Ring Road in Bannimantap, works at Bal Bhavan and Torchlight Parade Grounds, Hale Unduvadi Drinking Water Projects and others.
Roshan Baig will also inspect the works at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Bhavan, Bannimantap Torchlight Parade Grounds and other works taken up by MUDA. Later, he will hold a meeting at Mysuru City Corporation before heading back to Bengaluru.
MLAs M.K. Somashekar and Vasu, MUDA Chairman D. Dhruvakumar, MUDA Commissioner Dr. M. Mahesh, MCC Commissioner G. Jagadeesha, MUDA Secretary M.K. Savitha, Town Planning Member M.C. Shashikumar, Superintending Engineer M. Shivakumar, Zonal Assistant Commissioners and others were present.
