Francis Xavier (62), a resident of Gandinagar in city, passed away yesterday at his residence following brief illness.

He leaves behind his wife, two sons, grandsons and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral was held at the Catholic Cemetery on Mahadevapura Road in Gandhinagar here today.
