Mysuru: Nazarbad Police have arrested two persons allegedly involved in house breaking thefts and have recovered steel and brass materials used for bathroom and window fittings.

The accused have been identified as Mohammed Zakir, 21, resident of Beedi Colony, Shanthinagar and Mohammed Aquib, 19, resident of Shanthinagar. The Police press release said that Zakir and employee of Tanu Paints in Gayathripuram had allegedly joined hands with Aquib and had made away with bathroom and window fittings worth Rs. 40,000 and the duo were arrested while they tried to sell the stolen items at the scrap yard.

Nazarbad Police have registered a case and are investigating.
