Congress will smoothly win the forth coming Nanjangud and Gundlupet byelections to  Assembly, predicted Brijesh Kalappa, AICC spokesperson.

Addressing a press meet at Jaladarshini Guest House on Hunsur Road here this morning Brijesh Kalappa ruled out any obstacle in the by-election and  dubbed the prediction of former Minister V. Seernivasa Prasad as meaningless and irrational. He expressed trust in the electorate which can weigh the strength and merit of Congress.

Continuing Brijesh Kalappa pointed out that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was utilising the Defence power for opportunistic benefits without caring of the precious lives of jawans. He added that Modi had not visited the house of a single jawan who had died in the recent times in terrorist attacks.

Referring to personal tweets of MP Pratap Simha, Brijesh Kalappa suggested the MP to better visit drought-hit areas in State and do some constructive work in expediting the Central aid instead of tweeting irrationally on each and every issue.
