Operation Cheetah: Rs. 5.61 lakh fine collected from traffic offenders

Mysuru: The Mysuru City Traffic Police, along with Civil Police, who conducted ‘Operation Cheetah’ from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm at various places in city on Nov.11, have booked 5,066 cases against traffic rules offenders and have collected a total of Rs. 5,61,100 fine from them.

Also, the Police, who conducted an operation against drunken-driving from 9 pm to 12 midnight, inspected 987 vehicles and have booked 56 cases against those found riding and driving under the influence of alcohol and have recommended suspension of their DLs.
