Faulty autorickshaw meters: 21 cases booked, Rs. 10,000 fine collected

Mysuru:  The officials of the Department of Weights and Measures and Devaraja Traffic Police, who conducted a joint checking operation from 3 pm to 6 pm yesterday, have booked 21 cases on autos with faulty meters and have collected a total fine of Rs. 10,000.

The checking was conducted near City Bus Stand, Dufferin Clock Tower and K.R. Hospital, during which the officials found 21 autorickshaws with faulty fare meters, said Devaraja Traffic Inspector Srinivas.
