K. Markandeya

Markandeya (81), retd. Head Master of Government High School and a resident of Kuvempunagar in city, passed away on the wee hours of Feb.19 following cardiac arrest.

A native of Akkihebbal, Markandeya leaves behind his wife Nagarathnamma, a daughter, three sons and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill in city on Feb.19.
