City cyclist N. Kamalraj from Cycling My Sooru Training Academy participated in National-level Road Race (Criterium Race) at Coimbatore and secured Gold medal and was awarded Rs.12,000 in U-18 category. The event, organised by MVS Cycling Committee, was a 40 minutes Mass Start (Group) Race, in which more than 40 cyclists from all over India participated. This was Kamalraj’s first Criterium race.

Earlier, Kamalraj had participated in Mahadasara 12 km Road Cycle Race from Mysore Palace to Maharaja Institute Technology (MIT) in Mysuru and secured Silver medal and Rs.7,000 cash prize.
