Dangerous hump on Hunsur Road

March 6, 2018

Sir,

I thank Ashvini Ranjan for highlighting in this column the dangerous hump on Hunsur Road near B.M. Hospital.

I was on my two-wheeler with my brother on the pillion, and were on the way to catch the early morning bus. I was in the belief that the road which was asphalted had smooth riding and no doubt riding the bike at 40-50 speed. If I had no control over the bike it would have been a fatal accident.

It is true that the department concerned had not displayed any signage to warn the riders and also for the four-wheelers cautioning the hump. It is a callous attitude of the officials, least bothered about the life of the people and putting the motorists in a dangerous situation.
