Mahadevaiah (83), retired Deputy Director of the Co-operation Department at Mullur village in Nanjangud taluk and a resident of SBM Colony in Srirampura here, passed away on Saturday following heart attack.

He leaves behind his wife, two sons, three daughters and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at his native place Mullur yesterday.
