A delightful rendition of classical music by Dr. Vidyabhushana

Mysuru, Sept.3 (MK&US)- The ‘Sangeetha Sudhe’ programme organised as part of the ongoing Chaturmasya Vratha at Sri Krishnadhama in Saraswathipuram here featured a soulful rendition of classical music by Dr. Vidyabhushana and his daughter Medha Vidyabhushana from compositions of Vyasaraja and Purandaradasa on Saturday evening.

The songs rendered included ‘Abhima bheema madhwa muniya nenedu badukiro’ and songs on Lord Anjaneya like ‘Veera Hanuma bahu parakrama.’

Later, Medha Vidyabhushana rendered ‘Namma Sharade Umamaheshwari’, ‘Gubbi haado Ranga’, ‘Krishna nee begane baaro’ and other songs to the ample delight of the audience.

Pejawar Seer Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji graced the occasion. Cultural Programme Working President S. Ravi Kumar and others were present during the occasion.
