A.T. Muhammed (60), Vice-President of Kerala Muslim Jamath, passed away at Kannur district in Kerala in the wee hours of today.

Muhammed had served as the District Secretary of Indian National Congress Minority Cell, Mysuru, Vice-President of Kerala Muslim Jamaat, Mysuru and President of Thanveerul Islam Madrasa and Higher Secondary School on Akbar Road in city.

He leaves behind two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral was held at Kannur district in Kerala this afternoon.
