AAP’s Gram Sampark Abhiyan held in city

July 11, 2022

Mysore/Mysuru: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) kickstarted its Gram Sampark Abhiyan, a rural contact programme, during the District Volunteers Meet which was held at Nanjaraja Bahadur Choultry on Vinoba Road in city on Saturday.

Over 250 volunteers from across the district and taluk took part in the meet.

Actor-politician Mukhyamantri Chandru, who was the star attraction of the meeting, explained about the current political scenario in the State and exhorted the volunteers to bring AAP to power in the district. “All the three parties (BJP, Congress and JD-S), which have ruled the State so far, have indulged in caste and dynastic politics and are mired in corruption,” he alleged.

Stating that the BJP has accepted committing 40 percent corruption,   Mukhyamantri Chandru said that BJP has now insulted Basavanna, Rashtrakavi Kuvempu, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Dalits. “It is amazing how leaders from Veerashaiva, Vokkaliga and Dalit communities in BJP have kept silent. Corruption is the root cause of mismanagement, administration and all political problems. The only party which is raising its voice against corruption is AAP. Good quality education is the foundation of a good State and only our party is striving hard to facilitate this,” he added and assured education, health and other basic facilities in Mysuru.

State AAP Party President Prithvi Reddy, who too spoke, explained about the recent scams occurring in State and said how AAP Governments in Delhi and Punjab are delivering people-friendly services in their States. AAP State Joint Secretary Darshan Jain presented the proposed organisation structural changes and timeline for various committee formations.  Zonal Assistant Convener Abdul Razzak explained about how to reach the masses and deliver the AAP motto and messages to the general public. District leaders Rangaiah, Dharmashree, Malavika Gubbivani, Shivu, Ravichandra, Kiran Kalyani, Kumar and others were present at the meet.
