AC unit at MUDA catches fire

Mysore/Mysuru: Tension prevailed for sometime as an Air Conditioner (AC) unit at Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) office here, caught fire yesterday morning. The MUDA Engineers were holding a meeting at the Conference Hall in the premises, when fire was noticed from the AC unit. The Fire personnel, who reached the spot, succeeded in dousing the fire.

MUDA Commissioner G.T. Dinesh Kumar said: “Following the spot mahazar, it came to notice that fire triggered following a blast of gas box filled by compressor. However, no documents have been damaged. Action will be taken to replace old AC units and electric equipment with the new equipment.”
