ACB raids MCC Water Inspector’s house

Mysuru: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths raided the house of C.S. Krishnegowda, a Water Inspector at Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) and have recovered a huge amount of unaccounted money and properties.

The raid took place yesterday at the house of Krishnegowda at Aravindanagar.

The officer works with Vani Vilas Water Works (VVWW) under MCC and according to ACB, he has both immovable and movable properties that are disproportionate to his income.

Two houses that have been registered in Krishnegowda’s name, documents of a site, one luxury car, two bikes, 400 gram gold ornaments and one kilogram of silverwares have been listed as unaccounted wealth.

ACB Superintendent Dr. H.T. Shekar told Star of Mysore that Krishnegowda has been booked under the provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act and further investigations are on.
