Mysore/Mysuru: The Mysuru Centre of the Association of Consulting Engineers (India), inaugurated in 2001, will celebrate its Silver Jubilee on May 27 at Hotel North Avenue in Hebbal from 10 am                      to 1.30 pm.

The programme will feature a recap of the glorious journey of the Centre, highlighting the activities and events conducted over the past 25 years.

Founder-Members and former Chairmen of the Centre will be felicitated on the occasion in recognition of their valuable contributions. To commemorate the Silver Jubilee celebrations, a souvenir, edited by Dr. G.P. Chandradhara, will also be released.

N. Rama Mohan, an alumnus of SJCE, Outstanding Scientist and former Executive Director (Engineering – Light Water Reactors) of Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd. (NPCIL), Mumbai, will  be the chief guest.  S.B. Basavaraj, Chairman of ACCE(I) Mysuru, will preside.

The same day, ACCE(I) National Awards and Foundation Day will be hosted at the same venue from 3 pm to 9 pm. During the function, the Headquarters of ACCE(I) will present several awards, instituted through contributions from donors, recognising excellence and exemplary contributions made by outstanding Civil Engineering Consultants, Organisations and Students.

Dr. Sri Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji, President, Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust, will grace the occasion. Rajendra Kalbavi Rao, National President of ACCE(I), will preside. Kashiram Adepu, Secretary-General, Zonal Vice-Presidents and other office-bearers of the headquarters, will be present.
