Accident victim succumbs

Mysuru: N.S. Ramu (65), a resident of Kuvempunagar, who was being treated at K.R. Hospital for injuries sustained in a road mishap on Sept.18, breathed his last in the hospital last evening.

Ramu, a former employee of MNPM, Belagola, was riding pillion on a moped on the morning of  Sept. 18, when a speeding Scorpio knocked down the moped near A to Z store in Kuvempunagar.

Ramu, who was grievously injured in the mishap, was rushed to Bhanavi Hospital from where he was shifted to K.R. Hospital, it is learnt. The moped rider Girish, who too sustained injuries in the mishap, is being treated at a private Hospital. K.R. Traffic Police have registered a case in this regard.
