Accident victim succumbs to injuries

Mysuru: A person, who was admitted to a private hospital following severe injuries he had sustained in a road accident on Friday, succumbed to injuries at the hospital here yesterday.

The deceased has been identified as Manish Haran (44),  a resident of Siddarthanagar in city.

On Friday morning, Manish was proceeding on the Race Course Road in his Maruti Omni van (KA-55 M-2998) and took a left turn to proceed on the road behind Mall of Mysore when a KSRTC bus rammed into the van resulting in Manish suffering serious injuries.

He was immediately rushed to a private hospital, where he breathed his last yesterday morning after failing to respond to the treatment.

Siddarthanagar Traffic Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
