Activist complains to DG & IGP against Mysuru city DCP Muthuraju

December 18, 2024

Mysuru: Right To Information (RTI) activist Snehamayi Krishna has  complained to DG & IGP Dr. Alok Mohan against DCP (Law and Order) M. Muthuraju, accusing the latter of dancing to the tunes of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and hence action be taken against the officer by ordering his transfer.

Krishna has alleged that DCP Muthuraju hatched a conspiracy and filed a false case against him for carrying out a relentless fight in the case of 50:50 sites scam at MUDA, in which CM Siddaramaiah’s wife Parvathi was also a beneficiary of 14 sites.

He has further alleged that, Muthuraju, who was reluctant to file a First Information Report (FIR) on the basis of his complaint against M.J. Roopa, Secretary of Sri Chamundeshwari Temple Development Authority on Dec. 12, has however filed a case against him (Krishna) on the basis of the complaint lodged by Roopa against him on Dec. 14.

Krishna, who has accused the DCP of practicing favouritism, acting on the directions of CM Siddaramaiah, has urged the DG and IGP to take immediate action against the DCP.

He (Krishna) has also complained to Karnataka State Human Rights Commission (KSHRC) against Muthuraju.
