Bengaluru: Pattamal Veeraswamy (83), mother of ‘Crazy Star’ V. Ravichandran and wife of popular yesteryear producer N Veeraswamy, breathed her last on Feb. 28 morning at a private hospital in Bengaluru. She is survived by sons Ravichandran and Balaji and three daughters.

Pattamal was suffering from Alzheimer’s and age-related illness for a long time. The mortal remains kept for public viewing at Ravichandran’s residence in Rajajinagar. Last rites were performed in the evening.

It may be recalled that Pattamal was on a ventilator when ‘Power Star’ Puneeth Rajkumar died after suffering a cardiac arrest on Oct. 29, last year.
