Mysore/Mysuru: Adamya Rangashale, Mysuru, has organised a programme at Sri Kuvempu Rangamandira, Sri Vivekananda PU College, Jayalakshmipuram, tomorrow (Feb. 4) at 5.30 pm to present Gandhi Sadbhavana Award and Adamya Chethana Award.
Poetess Dr. Latha Rajashekar will inaugurate the event. Retd. Deputy Director of Kannada and Culture M.G. Sadanandaiah will preside.
Adamya Rangashale Hon. Secretary T. Sathish Javaregowda will deliver the felicitation address.
NSS Programme Officer N. Santhosh Kumar will be the chief guest.
Gandhi Sadbhavana Award recipients are G.L. Tripuranthaka, columnist, Mysuru; Dr. Ramalingaiah, Founder-Secretary, Anikethana Educational Institution, Mandya and Hanumantesh, President, Punyakoti Seva Trust, Mysuru.
Adamya Chethana Award recipients are H.S. Pranusha, Mudigere, Chikkamagalur; R. Kiran, Ramanagar and S.M. Ananya, Santhebachalli, K.R. Pet.
Children’s play titled ‘Rangannana Rampata’ based on Panchatantra stories will be staged on the occasion. The play is directed by Jayashree Idkidu, lights by Manoj Adamya and music by Tejas Hassan.
