“Adarsha Nadige” in memory of Dr. Vishnu on Dec. 25

December 24, 2022

Mysuru: “Dr. Vishnu Sena Samiti has organised “Adarsha Nadige,” a padayatra from Mysuru to Bengaluru, to promote the ideals of the late actor Dr. Vishnuvardhan and also send a message to the society to live like him,” said Samiti General Secretary M. Shivakumar.

He was speaking to press persons at Patrakartara Bhavan on Thursday.

“The padayatra aims to inspire the society to imbibe the ideals of Dr. Vishnuvardhan apart from remembering his services to the Kannada film industry. We intend to take out padayatra every year and this will be the first one,” said Shivakumar.

“The padayatra will begin on Dec. 25 at 9 am, after garlanding the bust of Gandhiji in front of Law Courts and will culminate at Abhiman Studio near Kengeri on Dec. 30, coinciding with the actor’s 13th death anniversary. About 150 people will participate in the 150-km yatra which will be led by businessman Balaram,” said Shivakumar.
