Mandya: Additional Deputy Commissioner  B.R. Poornima (in pic.) has been transferred as Special Deputy Commissioner, Digital India Land Records Modernisation Programme, Revenue Department, Bengaluru. Poornima, who had been working in Mandya for the past four years, has been replaced by senior rank KAS officer B.C. Vijaykumar, who was the Deputy Secretary to the State Government (State Protocol).

Ever since a complaint with regard to illegal mining was filed, the State Government has till now transferred eight officers including Poornima. Earlier, the Government had transferred DC S. Ziyaullah, SP Sudheer Kumar Reddy, Pandavapura AC Shivanandamurthy, Nagamangala ACF Puttaswamy, Senior Geologist Nagabhushan, Pandavapura RFO Munikrishna.

It may be recalled that Environment Officer Savitha and Tahsildar Maruthi Prasanna, whose names were not in the complaint, were also transferred.
