This refers to the article “Udupi, the Kshetra of Lord Sri Krishna” by Prof. A. V. Narasimha Murthy (AVN) in SOM dated Apr. 30.

Thanks to AVN for providing us with a detailed and informative article in his unique way as always. This day being celebrated across the nation as Shankara Jayanti, I would like to stress on the below line from the article:

“Adwaita (non-dualism) propounded by Adi Guru Shankaracharya of Sringeri.”

Sri Adi Shankaracharya born in Kalady is the greatest revivalist of Adwaita Vedanta and Sanatana Dharma pan-Indian Sub-Continent. Hence, it would only be appropriate to call him “Adi Guru Shankaracharya of Kalady.”
