Admission for 6th std. nomadic students

Mysuru: Backward Classes Welfare Department, Mysuru District, has invited applications from students of nomadic tribes for admission to higher primary schools and high schools of the following institutions for the year 2018-19:

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (Vijayanagar), Good Shepherd School (Lashkar Mohalla), Avila Convent (Krishna Vilas Road), Shastri Charitable Trust (Hunsur), St. Joseph’s School (Hunsur) and Christ School (Thandavapura). The Department will bear the school expenses like fees, study material and uniform including food and accommodation at residential schools.

Admission is open only for 6th standard. The student should have passed 5th standard with parental annual income less than Rs. 2 lakh.

Applications should be submitted before May 12  at 5.30pm to the District Officer, Backward Classes Welfare Department, Jagjivan Ram Bhavan, Adipampa Road, Paduvarahalli East, Mysuru-2 [Ph: 0821-2342917].
