Admission for boys at Blind School

The Department for Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens has invited applicatiwons from visually impaired boys aged between 6 years and 14 years for admission to first to tenth standard at Government School for the Blind, Tilaknagar in city, for the year 2022-23. Apart from academics, children will be trained in Daily Living Skills (DLS), Yoga, Meditation, Physical Education, Music, Dance, Drama, Movement Training, Computer Training, Smart Class and Spoken English. Also, food, accommodation, Braille books, school uniform, learning equipment, medical check-up, hot water for bathing (solar water heater) and other facilities will be provided free of cost.

The school will commence from May 16. Interested parents of the students may visit the School in person and get their children admitted by carrying relevant documents including Unique Disability (UD) ID Card, Birth Certificate, Caste Certificate, Passport Size Photograph and Aadhaar Card.
