Admission for diploma courses for differently-abled

Mysuru:  JSS Polytechnic for the Differently-Abled, Manasagangothri in city, has invited applications from differently-abled students for admission (on all India basis) to the following three year Diploma courses for the year 2018-19.

The courses offered are: Architecture, Commercial Practice, Computer Science and Engineering which are aided courses; Jewellery Design and Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Applications for the Visually Impaired, which are unaided courses.

Those students who have passed SSLC or equivalent examination with a minimum 35% marks with 40% and above disability — orthopaedically handicapped, hearing impaired (60db and above) and partial and total visual impaired — can apply.

For Jewellery Design and Technology Course, normal students are also eligible for admission under JSS Mahavidyapeetha scheme. Knowledge of Braille (English language) is preferred for partial and total visually impaired students.
