Admissions to post-matric hostels

The Backward Classes Welfare Department has invited online applications from eligible backward community students for admission to post-matric student hostels (boys and girls) run by the Department in the district.

The annual income of parents of  students  belonging to category-1 & SC/ST communities must not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh, while that of parents of students belonging to categories-2A, 2B, 3A, 3B & Other Backward Classes must not exceed  Rs. 1 lakh.

Similarly, online applications are also invited for admission to pre-matric student hostels (boys and girls) run by the Department in the district. Eligible Backward Class  and SC/ST  students can apply through the Department website: https://shp.karnataka.gov.in/bcw  before June 16.

The Social Welfare Department has invited online applications from eligible SC/ST, Backward Classes and Minority communities students for admission to post-matric student hostel run by the Department. 25 percent of the seats are reserved for Backward Classes and Minority communities’ students. Eligible students can apply through the Department website swdhmis.karnataka.gov.in, before Aug. 31.

The annual income of the parents of SC/ST students must not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh and that for parents of Backward Classes and Minorities students, must not exceed Rs. 1 lakh.  For details, visit the Department Office at Dr. Babu Jagjivanram Bhavan, Adipampa Road, Vontikoppal East, Paduvarahalli or call Ph: 0821- 2520910.
