Affectionate peck for Chacha Sait at Sammelana !

Flag-bearers: Two school children from North Karnataka seen planting an affectionate kiss on the cheeks of Primary and Secondary Education Minister Tanveer Sait as other students look on at the concluding day of the 83rd Akhila Bharata Kannada Sahitya Sammelana at Maharaja’s College Grounds here yesterday. Picture below shows the 12 children from Sheshagiri Government Higher Primary School in Kalaburagi District, who were seen carrying the Kannada Flag throughout the Sammelana. Teacher Basavaraju K. Shiranala led the team comprising Soundarya, Rohit, Ambika, Priyanka, Sumitra, Varsha, Krishna, Vaishnavi, Nanjundi, Samboji, Somashekar and Ravi who participated in the Sammelana on all the three days. They also visited places of tourist interest like the Zoo, KRS, Chamundi Hill and Dasara Exhibition and enjoyed themselves thoroughly.
