An awareness campaign through painting of walls was held in city this morning by Inner Wheel Club of Mysore Central and the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC). As part of the campaign, Club members painted the walls of Maharani’s College with themes that highlighted the evil effects of female foeticide, the benefits of girl child education and women empowerment. MCC Health Officer Dr. D.G. Nagaraju, Inner Wheel District 318 Chairman and Paediatrician Dr. Sarika Prasad, Inner Wheel Club of Mysore Central President Anitha Suresh, Secretary Suma Mahesh, Ex-President Chandrika Sudheer, members Sowjanya Attavar, Asha Divyesh, Sangeetha Berera, Suchetha and others were present.
