AIDSO stages protest seeking postponement of final year MBBS exam

February 4, 2022

Mysore/Mysuru: Seeking postponement of final year MBBS exam, members of AIDSO (All India Democratic Students Organisation), staged a demonstration in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office here yesterday.

Contending that only classes for seven months were held for final year MBBS students in the wake of COVID pandemic, instead of the normal period of classes of one year, the protestors argued that the academic syllabi has not been completed  and even the mandatory clinical posting too has not been completed. Stating that in this backdrop it has become difficult for students to prepare for the exams, they urged the RGUHS to postpone the exam in the interest of students.

Pointing out that most of the States have postponed the exam, they said that the State Government too should give enough time for students to prepare for the exams. AIDSO Office-bearers Subash, Asiya  Begum and others took part.
