AIDSO submits memorandum to DC seeking fulfillment of demands

Mysore/Mysuru: Urging the Government to address academic issues bothering the student community, AIDSO (All India Democratic Students Organisation) submitted a memorandum seeking fulfilment of demands to the Deputy Commissioner Dr. K.V. Rajendra at his Office here this morning.

The demands included free bus pass to all students, strengthening of Government educational institutions, introduction of secular curriculum in schools, distribution of student scholarships and construction of more student hostels, dropping of NEP curriculum, a stop to self-financing educational institutions, filling up of vacant teacher posts and facilities to guest teachers, among others.

AIDSO Mysuru office-bearers Chandrakala, Pushpa, Nitin, Swathi, Chaitra, Hema Chandrika, Chandana and others were present, according to a press release.
