Mysuru lad Aryan Pathange, teaming up with Ifthikar Ahmed, won the Men’s Doubles title in the AITA 50k Men’s Tennis Tournament at Pondicherry recently.
In the final, Aryan and Ifthikar beat Pereeth Kumar Ramdas & T. Krishna Teja 6-4, 6-2 to clinch the title. In the semi-finals, the duo beat Kiran Arunachala & C. Ashwin 6-1, 6-1.
In the quarter-finals, Aryan & Ifthikar beat Raj Visnu & Aaron Paul Samson 6-4, 6-2. In the first round, they beat Harsha Vardhan and Adrian Bruce 6-2, 6-0 to move further up.
