AITUC to hold nationwide general strike on Nov. 26

With the ongoing farmers stir near the borders of New Delhi, in protest against the three new Farm Laws and four Labour Codes introduced by the Union Government, completing one year on Nov. 26, the All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), under the banner of JCTU (Joint Committee of Trade Unions) and in association with other farmer organisations,  will hold a nationwide general strike on Nov. 26, marking the first anniversary of the stir.

The strike has been called to urge the Government to withdraw the Farm Laws & Labour Codes, to make payment of minimum wages of Rs. 21,000 to workers of unorganised sector mandatory, etc. [Ph: 0821-2331543].
