Akashavani bags two prizes

Mysuru: Akashavani, Mysuru, has bagged two prizes at the Annual State-level Akashavani Contest held recently. The programme ‘Haadiyalli Kanda Mukha,’ based on the life of Neelamma, a grave-digger at Veerashaiva Burial Ground in Vidyaranyapuram, has bagged the first prize in the serial programme.

Mysuru Akashavani Prog. Executive Abdul Rashid had compered the programme.

Likewise, the jingle titled ‘Plastic Tyajisi Parisara Ulisi’ (Stop Plastics, Save Environment) has bagged the second prize in Swachh Bharat Jingle Section. The jingle was produced by announcer Prabhuswamy Malimath.
